General practice / family medicine is defined as the medical specialty that manages common illnesses.

Internal Medicine Training

IMT is a three year programme which includes experience in intensive care medicine, geriatric medicine and outpatients.

Core Surgical Training

Core Surgical Training follows the ISCP curriculum which includes generic skills applicable to all surgeons.

FAMUS-Course-Poster-Dec23-merge
A full day course approved by the FAMUS & is intended to deliver all the components of the accreditation.

Led by Acute Physicians with extensive experience in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS).

Consists of theoretical teaching on the basics of point of care ultrasound as well as plenty of opportunity for hands-on practice delivered through a FOUR hour bedside practical scanning sessions.

The group sessions use a range of different high quality POCUS ultrasound machines

FAMUS COURSE COVERS:

Basic Ultrasound Physics and Knobology
Lung Ultrasound
Abdominal/Renal Ultrasound
DVT
Vascular Access

Course fee: £300
