Expired International Clinical Librarian Conference

  • International Clinical Librarian Conference
     2nd November 2023 - 3rd November 2023
     8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The International Clinical Librarian Conference is back for 2023, and will be held at College Court, in Leicester. This event is for clinical librarians, outreach librarians, information and knowledge specialists, and all other interested parties. We’re looking forward to seeing you in person to talk about your projects, new developments in clinical librarianship, and to get back to making connections with each other.

There is accommodation available on site at College Court (details can be sent over on request).

Interested in presenting at ICLC? We particularly welcome submissions from first time presenters. Submit your abstract here https://www.uhl-library.nhs.uk/iclc/abstracts.html. We welcome proposals for papers, lightning talks, eposters and workshops on all topics related to clinical and outreach library work.

The call for abstracts will close in June 2023 and speakers will be notified shortly afterwards.

The ICLC is not a membership organization. Anyone may attend our events. The Clinical Librarians at University Hospitals of Leicester form the organizing committee for the ICLC. They originated the first Clinical Librarian Conference in 2002. Subsequent successful conferences have been run in Leicester, London, York, Birmingham, and Manchester, with International joint events in Brisbane, Australia; Boston, USA; Toronto, Canada; and Edinburgh, Scotland, with the MLA, ICAHIS, ICML, CHLA/ABSC and EAHIL.

Please join us for our first ever official conference dinner, to be held at College Court on Thursday 2nd November. A chance to network informally with colleagues and catch up, or get to know one another better in a relaxed environment over a three course meal. To register for the evening meal, please select this when registering.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
