Introduction
The Clinical Education Centres at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, Glenfield Hospital and Leicester General Hospital offer flexible space for training, education and events. Each has a variety of rooms and lecture theatres available.

Useful Information
Leicester Royal Infirmary is situated on the southern edge of Leicester city centre.
Steeped in history and located on Level 2 of the Jarvis Building, this centre offers a 100 seater lecture theatre, 3 large teaching rooms and 3 small seminar rooms.

Glenfield Hospital is situated about three miles northwest of Leicester city centre.
The centre comprises of a 100 seater lecture theatre, 2 large teaching rooms, a digital suite and the library.
Clinical Education Centre: 0116 250 2301
Leicester General Hospital is situated about three miles east of Leicester city centre in Evington.
This centre has a 116 seater lecture theatre, 1 large seminar room, 3 small seminar rooms and a clinical skills wet lab. This centre hosts the majority of Clinical Education Conferences due to its locality and ease of parking.

It depends on the circumstances. If you are an external booking or are charging delegates or have a rep sponsoring your meeting then these meetings would be chargeable. This is because we have costs to cover but these prices are far cheaper than other venues in Leicester.
Training Programmes
Internal Medicine Training
IMT is the primary entry point and initial stage of training for those trainees following a career in medicine.
General Practice
3 year training programme normally consisting of 18 months in a GP and 18 months in hospital posts.
Core Surgical Training
24 month core programme rotating through sub-specialities working towards the Intercollegiate Surgical Curriculum Programme.

Libraries
The service includes training, support and a Clinical Librarian service. 24 hour access to the libraries is available to all UHL staff.
Clinical Skills Unit
Provides high quality, innovative clinical skills and resuscitation training to UHL staff and medical students.
Conference Service
Provides in-house management and support for a wide range of medical courses and conferences.
