Introduction

The Clinical Education Centres at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, Glenfield Hospital and Leicester General Hospital offer flexible space for training, education and events. Each has a variety of rooms and lecture theatres available.

Useful Information

The Leicester Royal Infirmary is situated on the southern edge of the Leicester city centre.

Steeped in history and located on Level 2, Jarvis Building this centre offers a 160 seater lecture theatre, 2 large teaching rooms and 4 small seminar rooms.

LRI Clinical Education Centre: 0116 258 6381

Glenfield Hospital is situated about three miles northwest of Leicester city centre.

This centre is the newest of the three centres and comprises a 120 seater lecture theatre, 3 large teaching rooms, a recording room, the library and a lounge area.

Clinical Education Centre: 0116 250 2301

Leicester General Hospital is situated about three miles east of Leicester city centre in Evington.

This centre has a 120 seater lecture theatre, 1 large seminar room and 2 small seminar rooms and a clinical skills wet lab room. This centre hosts the majority of Clinical Education Conferences due to its locality and ease of parking.

All catering should be booked through the Trust. We do not accept external caterers.
Yes. External bookings are chargeable but you will get on the day support for your meeting including IT support if required. For more information get in touch.

We do our utmost to ensure that Medical Education bookings are catered for, however, sometimes clashes do occur however we would always try to find you an alternative venue.

It depends on the circumstances. If you are an external booking or are charging delegates or have a rep sponsoring your meeting then these meetings would be chargeable. This is because we have costs to cover but these prices are far cheaper than other venues in Leicester.
