About SuppoRTT

SuppoRTT is a process in place to ensure your return to training is managed according to best practice and to support you in a safe re-adjustment when returning to training.  SuppoRTT is a national programme funded by NHSE and is aimed at those who are returning after 3 or more months.

You can access important resources on the East Midlands Deanery website: SuppoRTT – Supported Return to Training | Health Education England East Midlands

UHL SuppoRTT Champion

Dr. Kath Higgins serves as our SuppoRTT Champion, dedicated to ensuring that Resident Doctors, Educational Supervisors (ES), Training Programme Directors (TPDs), and department heads are informed about the SuppoRTT process, that guidance provided by NHSE is used, and that Resident Doctors receive the support they need.

SIM Skills Training

If you would like to arrange SIM Skills Training upon your return, please email Gerard.Delasalas@nhs.net. Additionally, we will be offering several custom SIM sessions, which will be announced through the uhl-tr.SuppoRTTMailbox@nhs.net mailbox.
